Learning & Choice

  • My primary interest is in the mechanisms of learning and choice behavior in simple organisms. I work primarily with honeybees and grasshoppers using traditional experimental psychology techniques. My goal is to better understand how the quantity, quality, delay and variability of food effect decision making. The techniques and methods used in my lab are easily learned and accessible to undergraduate students interested in experience in experimental psychology.
